Here are some answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ) about our services:

  • What locations do you provide services in?

Our team currently provides services to Worcester and surrounding towns/cities, including Holden, Rutland, Paxton, Auburn, Shrewsbury, West Boylston and Leicester. Please call or email us, however, as we often service other locations on a case by case basis.

  • Does CMSLT accept insurance?

At this time, CMSLT only accepts private pay. However, we would be happy to provide you with a detailed monthly invoice with insurance-compatible diagnosis codes. You may then call your insurance company to inquire about possible reimbursement options, if applicable.

  • Do you find home/community based services effective?

CMSLT strongly believes that fostering language and communication skills in the natural setting promotes generalization of targeted skill areas more effectively.

  • Do parents need to be present for treatment sessions?

We strongly encourage parents within the birth-to-3 population to participate in sessions, in order to empower parents to incorporate strategies within natural routines/settings throughout the day. With older children, individualized time is recommended with 10-15 minutes reserved during each session (typically at the end) for consultation with parents.

  • What are your rates/fees for speech and language services?

Rates/fees for services vary by type of service, treatment duration, and other factors; please call or email us and we will provide rates/fees specific to your needs.
